KEYS was specifically inspired by Chuck Leavell’s piano solo during Eric Clapton’s live performance of Old Love. When I listen to it, I picture a small, smoky bar late at night. A handful of people in the room. Low light. And me behind the piano, playing my heart out.

In that imagined moment, the audience almost disappears. There are no nerves, no thoughts about music theory, no consciously deciding where your fingers should go. You're just listening and responding. Notes become phrases, phrases become emotion, and somehow these sounds are appearing beneath your hands almost faster than you can think of them.

Nothing matters except the music.

That's what I wanted KEYS to feel like. The oversized hands, warped proportions and explosive colour aren't meant to capture what playing piano looks like. They're an attempt to capture what it feels like when you're completely lost in it.
