Based out of the Greater Toronto Area, Jacob Headley is an illustrator, muralist, and designer with a passion for bringing joy, smiles, and a sense of excitement through his art. He specializes in stylized, vibrant, colorful digital illustration along with expressive wall murals.

His Story

Ever since he could hold a pencil, Jacob has been immersed in the world of art. His journey began early, and he has dedicated himself to constantly improving his illustration skills. While studying graphic design in college, Jacob realized that he craved more creative freedom. He wanted to be his own boss and engage in project-based work that allowed him to see the tangible results of his efforts.

This desire and his previous job experience led him to start his own window cleaning business, which he still runs with his wife today. During the challenging times of the pandemic, Jacob had the opportunity to teach art online, pushing his boundaries and helping him take his illustration skills to new heights. It was during this period that he had a profound realization – it wasn't art that he didn't want to pursue as a career; it was graphic design. The lightbulb moment occurred, and Jacob knew that he had found his true passion in illustration.

Jacob's passion lies in the creation of art through a diverse range of mediums, from digital art to painting on canvases and walls, often utilizing a wide spectrum of materials—he thrives on challenging himself. With a deep appreciation for the versatility of these mediums, he skillfully transforms his imaginative and joyful visions into reality.

In addition to his love for illustration, Jacob has always had a deep passion for video editing and storytelling through video. He documents many of his art projects on his YouTube channel, where he shares not only the final artworks, but also the excitement, inspiration, and creative process behind them. It's his way of inviting his audience to join him on a visual journey through the world of art and creativity.
